For Non-quilters

Believe it or not, you don’t have to know how to sew a single stitch to help Margaret’s Hope Chest. Here are ways that YOU can help.

Be the EYES and EARS for the hopeless: I know many of you are involved in serving our community in many different ways. If you hear of or see a family or individual who is in need of hope, please contact us via phone or e-mail. We would love to share a quilt with them.
Be a DELIVERER of hope: We need persons able to deliver quilts to chosen recipients or agencies. This would involve a brief conversation explaining our mission, and presenting the quilt. Hugs and prayers are optional, but recommended!! Contact by phone or e-mail if you are interested.
DONOR of hope-making materials: When was the last time you were in a fabric store? Even if you don’t sew, it might be fun to pick out a few favorite designs of fabric and donate it for someone else to create a masterpiece. We are also in need of quilt batting for any size quilt, and white sewing thread. Please purchase any amount of 100% Cotton fabric and send to or drop off at: 630 Griswold SE Grand Rapids, MI.
DONOR of money: Any monetary donations to Margaret’s Hope Chest are tax-deductible (except for family members of the director). Your donation will go toward quilt making materials like fabric, batting, and thread. Please make checks payable to Margaret’s Hope Chest and send to this address: 630 Griswold SE Grand Rapids, MI 49507. I will send you a receipt for your tax records within 30 days of your donation.
